So, wanted to do something different (shocker). Here's the deal:
12 Teams
$300 Entry
Live Draft On ESPN Fantasy Football (The draft is scheduled for 8 pm Central on Tuesday the 25th.)
17 Week Schedule (no real playoff system, but week 17 has 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, etc)
Each Week
Top Scoring Team wins $100
Second Highest Scoring wins $25
You can lose the week's matchup and still get the second highest score that week, winning the $25.
Payouts for Weekly High Scores are sent every couple of weeks, instead of waiting until the end of the year. There will be $2125 in High Scores paid out.
Final Standings (due to the 17 week schedule, many teams are usually fighting for Top 4 spots until it's over)
1st - $550
2nd - $425
3rd - $300
4th - $200
So, if you get high score 3 of the 17 weeks, you're even. Get high score 2 weeks, second 2 weeks and come in 4th, you won $450. High score 3 times, second 2, and 3rd place = $650. Etc, etc, etc. You get the idea.
You could win a lot, barely break even, or not win a thing. You could be playing for free by week 3 (and have your entry fee already returned). There is a big emphasis on your weekly lineup. Even if you're out of the running for Top 4, you can still win top score at the end of the year (especially week 17).
The only big thing missing will be NO TRADES. Because of how much is won each week, there will be no trades allowed, to avoid collusion or appearances thereof. If we get 12 people in this, we can discuss that and the options then.
The Waiver Wire will be always rotating, not resetting each week. So, if you make a move, you fall to the back of the line until the next person makes a move. It will not readjust each week.

If they are not, anyone who hasn't paid will be dropped, and the next person(s) in line will have the option of paying by the 15th and getting in. After that it's first come first serve (meaning, first paid, first in). If we do NOT get to 12 people, all entry fees will be returned and we will forgo the league.
Just a different kind of setup that I thought would be fun and keep some good interest throughout the season, with some good payout opportunity and nice cappers at the end of the season.
