Standard calcutta format (i.e. not parimutuel):

• Deadline: The calcutta ends Wednesday April 8th at 4:00 PM Eastern.

• Payment: Margo Townsend AKA "Midi" will be handling the collection of money and prize payouts again. Accepted payment methods are Paypal and Checks. We will post the information after the bidding closes. If sending by paypal, please leave the subject line blank, or just put something generic like "from ____".

Please remember the One Hour Rule:

• The One Hour Rule: This rule is put into place to squash any attempts to sandbag bids at the last minute.

If a bid is placed in the last hour of the Calcutta (i.e. between 3:00 and 4:00 PM on Wednseday April 8th) then
an additional one hour of bidding time (from the time of said bid) will be added for the player being bid upon.

This will continue to happen as long as the bidding for the player continues.

Example: If someone bids on Tiger Woods at 3:26 PM on the 8th, Tiger's deadline will be extended until 4:26 PM. If someone then bid again on Tiger, at say 4:02 PM, then his deadline would be further extended to 5:02 PM.

• Betting Minimum: Each player will begin with a bet of no less than $10. Each increment bid raised thereafter must be in multiples of $10 per bid.

• The Field: There will be no Field bid.

• Prize Structure: Four prizes, split will be 40%, 30%, 20%, and 10% of prize pool.

• Sign Up: You will be required to register before you place a bid. PLEASE, ONLY USE YOUR REAL NAME!!!

• Email Notification: You will (should) receive an email notification indicating that your bet has been accepted. You will (should) also receive an e-mail notification when someone places an Outbid on a player that you had action on. There have been issues in the past with emails, so please don't rely on them!

I should've YouTubed it. I didn't even think about it until afterwards. It was just a thumber, though. Imagine a pin, 259 yards away, with 13 mph in your face, blowing about 5:30. You stand firm in front of the machine, sweat dripping from your nether regions, lesser players standing around seeming to cheer in slow motion. But you hear nothing except the sound of your thumbs gliding across the ball. You wait patiently for about 2.4 seconds because you hit the Quick Shot button. The ball bounces backwards once, then you're pretty sure it swishes on the bounce (because, again, you've hit the Quick Shot button and you're not entirely sure what happened). You hear the DING DING DING of a HIW and the lesser players (read: dorks) behind you cheer and shout "HARLOW JUST GOT $500!" But you walk off because you have to pee, and it's really not that big of a deal because everyone loves you for no apparent reason. The hot chick nearby rolls her eyes and fetches you another iced tea because you asked for one about 7 minutes prior to The Moment.

I see the rules say there is no field bet, but you don't have all players listed?

Edit: It appears to be the older former champs only as I don't see anyone significant missing so not a big deal I guess, I just noticed in my spreadsheet that the field looked 10-15 short.
