Myrtle Beach is good if you're not there in the Summer. Way too touristy. Late fall is when I would go. Cooler temps, less humidity, and much smaller
crowds since the kids have gone back to school.
I'd reccomend staying at The Sands. They've got Ocean Annie's right at the hotel and plenty of golf and food nearby. Its down a side road so its a little more isolated than the rest of the beach and a good bit less crowded. They've also got some pretty good sized rooms that can sleep up to 6 or 7, I think. The Long Island Teas are epic at Ocean Annie's too.
